Position Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and capable Head of Community & Content who has successfully managed communities before, to lead content distribution and community engagement across our brand ecosystem. This person will play a key role in aggregating insights from all partners and resources involved, crafting strategic communications, and driving engagement through platforms like newsletters, X, and Slack.
The ideal candidate has a strong sense of content strategy, thrives in a fast-moving DTC environment, and is deeply plugged into the e-commerce and consumer brand space.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a thriving community for Elevator Goods, partner brands, services, and members.
- Distribute content across platforms including newsletters, X, LinkedIn, and internal comms.
- Aggregate and coordinate timely updates on DTC news, market shifts, policies, investment trends, and other macro events.
- Spearhead a branded newsletter and editorial calendar.
- Create and maintain a posting strategy for X (formerly Twitter).
- Organize and coordinate digital and in-person community events.
- Manage and moderate a Slack group of brand partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align messaging and insights.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience building and managing online communities.
- Must have built/managed a community before
- Strong writing, editing, and content distribution skills.
- Deep understanding of the DTC space, particularly in consumer trends and macro shifts.
- Proficient in social media platforms, email/CRM tools, Notion, LinkedIn, and Slack.
- Proficient in setting up a social content calendar
- Knowledge of UTM tracking and integrations with Typeform or other similar platforms
- Self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management via Notion
- Proficient in AI tools
- Bonus: based in Hong Kong for optimal time zone alignment and in-person potential.
